Big changes are coming to Battle Arena. ( Emphasis mine.) Stay tuned.

These are the things that I’ve been working on lately. I’m making a card game version of Battle Arena.

I wanted to prototype a game with cards, and once I got started it just took on a life of its own. I still have to figure out balance and kinks, but I feel good about it.

More cards to come as they get finished.

The financial crisis is visible in our city. Landmark businesses like Virgin Megastore and Stacey’s Books are closing shop. Can’t quite believe that they’re closing. Not that I have any particular attachment to those stores, it’s just that they’ve always been there. It’ll make Market Street look odd.

That last one is a little obnoxious because of the CNN host, but it’s informative nonetheless.

It’s been a very frustrating day, little things kept going wrong.

Sometimes when my energy’s sapped, it helps to see somebody excited about what they do.

If I had seen this when I was a kid I might have become a scientist.

This year was busy to start with. I moved apartments and the dayjob kicked in with the start of the semester. But there’s always something else that gets in the way. Gonna try being consistent moving forward, regardless of whatever else is going on. The other comics have to get started too. I will get them done.
